As an experienced professional working in the field of Gerontology, I want my clients to be as educated as possible before they make a decision as to the “Next Step”.

I know very few individuals under the age of 65 spend time learning about what Medicare pays for or the financial requirements for obtaining Medicaid or the difference between an Assisted Living Facility and a Nursing Home or the difference between Medicare Part B and Part D.

So the good news for them is that I have. Then when a family wants to develop a Care Plan for the future or is experiencing a health crisis I can help them.

As an educator, I am able to explain things in a manner that is easy to understand. My core competencies include Mediation, Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Insurance to include Long Term Care, Selecting the correct long-term care setting, and reviewing financial situations.
